Ross-Ensign Selfix Snapper camera

This is a medium format, self-erecting folding camera designed to take 6x9cm images on 620 film. It has a cast metal body with an attractive grey crackle-finish paint.

This is the first model of this camera that has the shutter release lever on the left side.

This camera dates from the 1950’s and was made in England. In the inter-war period, Ross-Ensign became the largest producer of quality photographic equipment in the UK.
