The Sterling II was made in England by Kodak, introduced in May 1955 and withdrawn in 1959. It is a folding camera taking 6x9cm images on 620 film.
The body is a metal casting with added sheet metal and chromed parts, and a plastic top plate. The button beside the viewfinder is the folding release catch; the red button beside the winding knob is the shutter release. This is an early version with a small plastic knob beside the viewfinder that lifts the feed spool retainer during loading. Later models has larger metal knobs.
The camera has a Pronto shutter, speeds 1/25-1/200 + B with flash sync and self-timer. The Lens is a Kodak Anaston, 105mm f/4.5, which focuses down to 3.5ft.
