This serial number of this camera (1072231) dates it from 1919. It was a particularly popular model in the First World War, and is often referred to as The Soldiers Camera. Indeed it was advertised as such by Eastman Kodak themselves. The camera takes type 127 film.

This was described as an autographic camera because it allowed the photographer to write comments with a stylus in a window in the camera back, onto the paper backing of the film.
