Yongnuo 50mm f/1.8 prime lens for Canon EF mount.
The large maximum aperture of this lens (f/1.8) allows the background to be thrown out of focus and the out-of-focus regions have a very nice smooth appearance. This Yongnuo lens is essentially a copy of a similar Canon design so optically it is surprisingly good for an inexpensive lens.
