Ross-Ensign Selfix 16-20 camera

This is the first model of the Ross-Ensign Selfix 16-20, a British folding camera dating from 1950 which takes 6 x 4.5 cm frames on 120 film (16 frames in portrait orientation). The shutter is cocked on the lens but released via a button on the top panel, which engages with the shutter via an interesting lever arrangement. It has a 75mm Ensar lens in a 4 speed Epsilon shutter.

This is very light and compact for a 120 film camera - when folded it is small enough to fit into a coat pocket. It is a great folding camera from the 1950s, aimed at the serious amateur.
